An absolute nightmare. Dishonest and greedy. Here is my story: My car broke down at a gas station on Motor Parkway. After filling up my tank, the car would not turn on, even after getting a jump start, so I knew it was more serious than a battery. After waiting 1 hour for help to arrive, the tow truck driver hitched my car and agreed to drop me off at my workplace and bring the car to the nearest mechanic, Lee Myles. Throughout the day I was calling Lee Myles to find out what was wrong with the car. They were telling me they went through a standard diagnostics test, which included testing the fuel lines, battery, and other items, which all seemed reasonable. However, they couldn't find the issue and had to do "further diagnostics work" which would cost their STANDARD LABOR RATE of $128 AN HOUR. I was going to be stranded 40 miles away from home after work, so I agreed to let them continue. Finally, after TWO HOURS of "diagnostics" they determined the camshaft position sensor was at fault. While this repair, including labor and parts, should only cost around $300, Lee Myles of Bohemia charged me over $900. They took full advantage of my situation, and they are miserable scumbags for doing so (the last name of the main guy working there, Sleezer, sums it up well). The other reviewer is right-they inflate their hourly rates and are able to get away with it because of their location. I was begging them on the phone to give me a break on the cost, because I knew I was completely at their will. All they gave me was an oil change...a whopping $30 value. And when I came in another day to redeem my free oil change on my lunch break, they tried to get me to leave the car there and "get lunch somewhere across the street" so they could continue with their scam. I refused and kept an eye over the mechanic working on my car. I beg of anyone looking for car repair in the area, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Even if you have to get your car towed a few miles away, it would be in your best interest to do so. STAY AWAY
